Ingredients
20 baby potatoes
22 to 25 peel garlics
1 inch peel Ginger
2 large size onions( peeled and chopped)
3 dried Red Chillies
1 tablespoon hole black pepper
1 inch cinnamon
5 to 6 green cardamoms
4 to 5 cloves
2 tbsp poppy seeds
Mustard oil as per required
Salt to taste
HOW TO MAKE RECIPE
preparation for dum aloo recipe:
Peel the potatoes
rinse the baby potatoes
grind all the spices to a smooth paste.
grind onion ginger and garlic Red Chillies black pepper cinnamon cardamom clothes and poppy seeds add little bit water together to a smooth paste.
We are using cooker to cook it
So that it can be cooked in a very short time
But you can use any other pot
Heat the cooker and mix three tablespoons of oil in it.
When the oil becomes completely hot
And its rawness will go away
Then put all the spices in it.
The spices we had grinded
Cover cooker and cook on low flame
untill it become light golden brown.
When the spices become golden brown,
then add half cup water to it,
then put the baby potatoes in it
close the lid of the cooker,
cook on the low flame until the two whistles come in.
When do wishes come
Turn off the gas,
and allow the cooker to release its steam itself.
When the cooker releases its steam
Open the cooker lid
Dam aloo is ready to eat.
You can eat it with paratha Naan pulao plain rice and etc
